[He does! Which means of the bugs he can find, he'll only find the sort that don't need filth to propagate. Which means in about a minute or so or crawling around under some furniture, he flutters back over and lands on Ranpo's chest--]

He's like a little roomba when it comes to bugs... but at least he didn't eat it this time.

I can't imagine they're all that tasty.

You'd think, but he's eating them anyway. It might be for the protein? I've tried to give him meat, but he refuses to even touch it. Cooked or raw.

You might try beans? I know those have plenty of protein in them...
