He's not mad, he's just a baby! Waaaatty, don't you wanna play with Tiger-papa?
[They're just both papas now, it's fine.]
[But from under the couch HE YELLS MORE and then shifts around so his tail is sticking out instead... which is totally wagging. He's not mad, he just wants to play.]
[AND OFF THEY GO!! Ranpo goes first to the bathroom, opening and closing the door -- before instead ducking into the curtains covering the living room window, to throw him off.]
[Meanwhile, Watson... just turns invisible with kitsune illusions. And sits on the coffee table.]
[He heard Ranpo move, but not Watson... but Watson's smaller and presumably quieter when he wants to be. First he'll check the bathroom, as expected, but when he doesn't find Ranpo he'll return to the living room.]
[Ranpo stays absolutely still, trying hard not to giggle and give himself away. But he's a hide and seek master -- and should Tiger move to inspect the bedroom, he'll slip out and hide behind the bathroom door, knowing it's been searched and is likely safer.]
[But Watson doesn't have such restraint. And when Tiger comes back out, he quietly hops off the table and just starts following behind him, still invisible.]
[Watson is quiet, but not completely silent, and the floor outside Atsushi's bedroom isn't carpeted. When he hears the patter of little feet, Atsushi turns around, but there's no one and nothing visible.
[Alas, Watson is still yelling, and it takes Ranpo finding him and scooping him up for him to become visible again.]
Well, seeing as we're both raising him, then I get a say too, right? And since he's still getting to know Tiger-papa, I think you should spend more time spoiling him first!
[Gonna hand him the smol baby. He has a very very small pout on his face.]
no subject
[But it's okay because he's adorable while he does it.]
no subject
[--is what he says, but then Watson decides to start sniffing around, eventually just climbing up onto Ranpo's face.]
[And settling in.]
[...]
Watty, Papa needs to breathe.
no subject
Don't suffocate your father, it's not nice.

[And then off he goes, dashing around the couch and over the two of them like a crazy fox, before squeezing himself underneath the couch.]
Aww, is someone sulking because he got scolded by Tiger-papa?
[The gremlin under the couch barks again, only little sniffing nose visibly poking out from under it.]
no subject
[his poor heart, broken.]

What kinds of games do you like, Watson? Tag? Hide and seek?
no subject
...he cheats at that one.

[Ranpo ain't buying it.]
Well, since Tiger-papa suggested it-- you count to ten, and Watson and I will hide!

Atsushi covers his eyes.]
One... two...
[Better hurry!]

[Cheater.]

Where are you two...

...wait.]
Don't tell me you're using illusions.
no subject
[He's not subtle.]
no subject
[cannot believe his son is a bad boy after he tried so hard to instill proper morals - okay he's just gonna check behind the curtains now]
no subject
--I told you he cheats! [A voice from somewhere-- "No chit!!"] But he's easy enough to find anyway. He gets lonely if you take too long to find him.
no subject
[Truly the worst possible threat.]
no subject
[...he's still invisible though. Which has Ranpo very very carefully walking around to find him without accidentally stepping on him.]
That seems a little harsh... he's barely a week old!
no subject
[Our child.
He reaches out a hand in clear invitation to Pet.]
Come here, Watson.

[Tiny baby gets many gentle pets.]
I love you even if you cheat at hide and seek.
no subject
[But, meanwhile--]
[Ranpo comes over and plops his chin down on Tiger's shoulder, now with a pout of his own.]
...I can't believe Watson got to hear "I love you" from Tiger before I did.
