[He's moved from nuzzling to instead walking up along Tiger's arm, aiming to rest on his shoulder and sniff around his hair... and maybe chew on it, if he isn't stopped.]

My eyes are just-- well, I guess I do actually have to wear glasses, but that's annoying to do all the time.

[The reason he squints, revealed.]

Come on, let's sit down! That way both of us can cuddle up with you!

[He plops down on the couch, still petting Watson gently.]

[But as soon as Tiger is sitting down, Ranpo sits down next to him and turns, stretching out over his lap with a grin.]

[Starts to pet Watson with both hands.

[Bringing out the real name here. He's weak to it.

Tiger sighs fondly and switches to petting both of them like not-a-gremlin.]

[It only takes a few scritches behind one of his ears to get him purring, Ranpo leaning into his touch. But as soon as that purring starts, Watson goes still, ears twitching. And then, with a flourish, he leaps down off of Tiger's shoulder and onto Ranpo's chest, scurrying over to nestle under his chin.]

[Which causes a snort of laughter from Ranpo.]

He really likes it when I purr... don't you, Watty?

[Now he's gonna get little pets from both of them.]

He's using you as a massage chair.

[But it's okay because he's adorable while he does it.]

Well, he's sitting in the perfect place for it!

[--is what he says, but then Watson decides to start sniffing around, eventually just climbing up onto Ranpo's face.]

[Gently - he's so small - Tiger picks Watson up to set him back on Ranpo's chest instead.]

Don't suffocate your father, it's not nice.

[Watson WIGGLES AND BARKS WHEN HE'S LIFTED IN PROTEST!!]

[And then off he goes, dashing around the couch and over the two of them like a crazy fox, before squeezing himself underneath the couch.]

Aww, is someone sulking because he got scolded by Tiger-papa?

[The gremlin under the couch barks again, only little sniffing nose visibly poking out from under it.]

He's not mad, he's just a baby! Waaaatty, don't you wanna play with Tiger-papa?

[They're just both papas now, it's fine.]

[But from under the couch HE YELLS MORE and then shifts around so his tail is sticking out instead... which is totally wagging. He's not mad, he just wants to play.]

What kinds of games do you like, Watson? Tag? Hide and seek?

[Oh, that gets him crawling back, turning to look up at them. "Hide an see! Hide an see!"]

...he cheats at that one.

Is that true? You're a good boy who doesn't cheat, aren't you?

[He lets out a little grumbly sound, tail wagging behind him. "No chit! No chit!"]

[Ranpo ain't buying it.]

Well, since Tiger-papa suggested it-- you count to ten, and Watson and I will hide!

[Why would you not trust that adorable ball of fluff.

Atsushi covers his eyes.]

One... two...

[Better hurry!]

[AND OFF THEY GO!! Ranpo goes first to the bathroom, opening and closing the door -- before instead ducking into the curtains covering the living room window, to throw him off.]

[Meanwhile, Watson... just turns invisible with kitsune illusions. And sits on the coffee table.]

[Cheater.]

-nine, ten. Ready or not, here I come.

[He heard Ranpo move, but not Watson... but Watson's smaller and presumably quieter when he wants to be. First he'll check the bathroom, as expected, but when he doesn't find Ranpo he'll return to the living room.]

Where are you two...

[Ranpo stays absolutely still, trying hard not to giggle and give himself away. But he's a hide and seek master -- and should Tiger move to inspect the bedroom, he'll slip out and hide behind the bathroom door, knowing it's been searched and is likely safer.]

[But Watson doesn't have such restraint. And when Tiger comes back out, he quietly hops off the table and just starts following behind him, still invisible.]
